The Midi is send over AES50 and can be connected on the S-16 midi ports. Concerning S-16...I got one!!! But only till next monday. I will do a live show with it on saturday, on monday I have to return this thing.</p><p>@Sean: This is one feature of the X32, that really blows my mind. I can get it to work with 48Samples and in addition the R&D is working on a special signalflow, with you can use the preamps in the X32-->send the signal over fiwi to your computer-->use any VST plugin-->and send it right back in the X32 channel! Imagine...you can use Drumagog, Waves DeEsser or as many SPL Transient Designer VST Plugins as you like with the X32 in combination with a potent PC on your gig. SAC User know, what I'm talking about... </p><p></p><p>Almost forgot, that they showed me the alpha version of the X32 iPad App. Looks really nice, good compromise between useability and feature densitiy.
