You would have not only the wireless network devices to cause latency, but the android device itself would not have sufficiently low latency audio chipset and drivers to support your virtual AES50 receiver idea. This type of thing will likely come eventually, but we aren't there yet - other technologies will need to move forward before the audio industry can leverage them to do this sort of thing more feasibly and at a reasonable cost.
