re: X32 Discussion Well this is very subjective, but it would have been nice, to have 48 mic inputs and four or eight more FX slots. Sure that's not doable with this price tag, but I hope there will be a X48 someday. My personal complain list is really short. I miss a DeEsser and a Multibandcompressor...but these might come with an major update someday. Two things about the operation. If you change the preDelay in a reverb algo, the reverb is shortly muted during the parameter change. No big deal for me, when I change something on a reverb during a song, it is the reverb time or the hiCut. One other thing that annoys me a bit, is part of the "Sends on fader" behaivor. If you like to give the drummer more kick drum on his drum fill, you hit the sends on fader button and the DCA section changes immediatly to the mixbusses layer. That's fine, you select the Drummer mixbus and rise the fader on input 1. Still everything is fine, but now when you hit the sends on fader button again to go back where you came from, it stays in the MixSends Bus Layer and dosen't change back to the DCA section. So you have to hit the DCA Layer button again. One step to much for me. Normaly you want to set the monitor level and then go back to the DCAs directly. Sure, it is no big deal...but I needed about ten shows, until I instantly pushed the DCA button again to leave the mixbus layer. Otherwise, the X32 has a nice and fast workfow for a console of this pricerange. Christian
