re: X32 Discussion Guys...seriously... THANK YOU for all the nice words and wishes. I really appreciate it! This is truly one of nicest online communities I ever joined, so I have no regrets that I spend some time, trying to answer your questions. About two years ago I sold all my mixing consoles (analog and digital) and jumped on the SAC train. Some months ago I would never dreamed of, to buy an "ordinary" mixing console again. I just liked the possebility so much to be able to use all the plugins that I use during my studio jobs without any limitations concerning the count or brand of these plugin. Then I got the X32 for a review and saw immediately, that this is possible with this desk too! From this point I must confess, I was hooked. You know the rest of the story. I still belive the X32 is a milestone in it's price range but I must also say, that I have mixed feelings about the release date. The good thing is, the X32 is acutally shipping. The bad thing for me personally is: My "job" is more or less done. In the next couple of weeks, lot's of X32 will come to their new owners and the discussion will hopefully go on in this forum. And of course, I will step in from time to time out of curiosity. The X32 has so much to offer, and I'm sure that the Behringer guys will come up with new features and stuff on a regular basis. F.e. I strongly belive, that the Xremote PC editor software will arrive soon. The necessary firmware version 1.05 is now up on Behringer.com and you should update your X32 to that version, if your desk has an older firmware. One more personal view about the promised addition features/gear: Actually I don't know anything, how business is done at Behringer. You should be aware, that Behringer is a multicultural and multinational company, so that the flow of information might be sometimes difficult to handle. I just know the guys from Behringer Germany, and what I see is, that these guys are basically working their asses off to get the X32 and the additional stuff on the road. Sometimes, even if everthing runs smooth first hand, there are things/conditions/circumstaces, that nobody can anticipate. I know just very little about this in detail and I didn't ask further - all I can say is, the Behringer guys that I know, are nothing but awesome and do almost everything, that this console will operate correct. Right from the time, when you push the power button for the first time. But heh...just wait a week or two and you will see for yourself! All the best - it was a blast! Christian
