Quick Review Hi, Just a quick review… My first impressions of the X32 are very positive. I read one post saying the faders weren't very smooth, but I beg to differ. I like my faders light, and am finding these to be just fine. Build quality appears to be pretty good. Aside from the couple of problems I already mentioned (Behringer is working with me very diligently to resolve them), there were a couple of cosmetic blemishes. I also read a post claiming that the board is made from plastic. The end-caps appear to be plastic. But, the chassis top appears to be metal. The area around the screen is plastic. I was able to lift the board just fine by myself. I wouldn’t consider it light, nor heavy, for its size. It doesn’t appear to be “cheap” to me. The layout is intuitive. In many cases, there are multiple ways to accomplish something, depending upon where you’re at. That is going to be great for workflow. The UI layout is pretty good. I found a few quirks here and there. For example, I think programming the scribble scripts could be more intuitive. That said, intuitive UI’s are very complicated to design. We already see Behringer willing to listen to feedback, and make adjustments. Aside from how to program the scribble strips, I haven’t needed the preliminary manual or quick-start guide. (I did print the block-diagram, though.) I’ve already figured out (and tested) how to do “aux fed subs,” although how to do the crossover eludes me at the moment. Overall, I think Behringer has done a great job with the X32. I’m looking forward to moving it into production. Eric
