Reaper & USB over XUF card Hi all! I've had my X32 now for about a week and I've been slowly getting my head around the many options and confirming that everything works as intended. Great piece of kit! Where I'm struggling is with the XUF USB / Firewire expansion card. My intention was always to use an old Acer laptop to record 32 channels via USB using Reaper 4.0. I had the laptop already set up with Vista 64 fully patched and Reaper but my USB ports were playing up. I bought another USB port on a PCMCIA card to try that and I cannot get that working either. Then I tried another laptop and can't get it working. I just don't appear to have any evidence of audio appearing in Reaper in any way. I don't really have any experience with Reaper so it may be something there that I'm doing wrong, but I am a pro audio guy and I'm also a pro IT guy so after 2 days of fiddling, I'm beginning to suspect the XUF card is faulty. I also noticed on the main X32 screen it says XU with a green light, not XUF. So, anyone with experience of Reaper and an X32 have any pointers? It's got to be a hardware failure or something simple that I'm just not seeing in the Reaper manual. Thanks in advance. :)~:-)~ Kind regards, Andrew Mama - The UKs 'all era' Genesis tribute band! Carillon Video - Professional Wedding Videographer & Wedding Video Production Services in Bolton, Manchester & all over the UK
