If it doesn't work off the distributor, daisy it off one of the P mixers. If that doesn't work, you won't really have lost anything since you are buying another one anyway. ( If for some strange reason it blows up, the only thing I can imagine would be the P16-D trying to draw power from the connection and overloading the other P16-D, that would have to be a design flaw)Remeber also that you can have almost as many daisy chained P-16 mixers as you want, but only the ones plugged into the distro will be powered by the distro, the other P16s need their power supply.
