CAT5 cables for P16 - Stage Grade I hope this is not off topic. For those in the UK mainly. I have now received 6 x P16s and they are really great. They come with the usual CAT5 cable in black. It is as always the very stiff computer grade CAT5 which does not lay flat nor does it coil well after use. So I went looking for something more suitable, no joy on the usual websites but found the following on eBay. I have no connection with the company but I have received three cables made up to the length I requested and ordered three more. This Van Damm Tourcat CAT5 is really flexible almost like mic cable but thinner. I thought I'd post here in case others are looking for this sort of thing. The guy will make up any length you ask for and then put it up on ebay. He can either do the normal cat5 connectors (what we need for the D16) or the XLR shrouded type which works on the AES ports. 6m VanDamme Tour Grade CAT5e cable with booted RJ45 terminations | eBay I found him very helpful and very quick to deliver. I have no idea wether the prices are good or not as I've simply not found anywhere else that will make up short lengths (1 - 20M) but the prices seem reasonable to me. He also does 50M and 100M version on a very nice drum which we'll not need as we are permie installation. regards Mike
