re: X32 Discussion I think Florian has some good observations/request. I've snipped his quote and left the ones that strike me as the most important, primarily blinking mute lights when DCA's are muted (and mute groups for that matter) and EQ on FX returns. In addition I'm copying my feature requests that I posted on the Behringer forum as it sounds like they have some stuff to work out so in the meantime maybe it will get a little more traction here. 1. Again, I know its been mentioned but the ability to soft patch channels individually instead of blocks of 8 is really important. It's a pretty big limitation and when we get our 2 S16's its really going to bum me out when it comes time to patch in things like wireless and Room mic for recording at FOH. All of the aux inputs will be used with playback sources. 2. Assigning custom names for the assignable encoders. For example I have a matrix send set on an encoder and the matrix is labelled "Rear Speakers" and it would be really great for the option of naming the encoder that as well. As it stands now it just says MTX 1 send or something like that. 3. Assigning fader control of inputs and outputs to assignable encoders instead of just the sends. I'd love to have things like ipod playback level or any other channel at my disposal on those encoders. Also in the case of my #2, I'd prefer to have Matrix output level on the encoder instead of the individual send to Matrix. Seems to be a pretty reasonable option to have. Mixed my first show on the X32 last night and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to some better bands this weekend and being given a little more to work with. Thanks for the great console at a great price.
