G'day Don,

I'm confident both would work. Right now, it's working with a Via chipset 3194 card, which was the last new 1394 card I threw at the old U-UF card. I haven't hit it hard yet as the studio is pulled to bits and I'm getting all the gear back in there (a new desk means a lot of redundant items.... even the racks need replacing now
