re: X32 Discussion

You can't understand why? Well... Because the X32 is being used in a studio and I would like to use NI Kontakt via keyboard. If there's a working port on the X32 there's no need to buy a separate MIDI interface. I understand that MIDI equipment will most likely use a 5-pin DIN connector. The underlined part was about 'commands' But I guess a keystroke on a keyboard could also be classified as a command. I thought they maybe ment controller commands.

Could someone then please explain what the right procedure would be to use the midi port. The manual isn't really helping me here. The port is visible on the pc and set to 'on' on the X32 as stated in my last post. But it won't work in the standalone Kontakt VST nor in reaper. I could try to reïnstall the drivers. But maybe I'm overlooking something here...
