Re: X32 Discussion Hello Liam. I'll give it a try. To get audio back from Sonar into the X32, the procedure should be something like this: 1. With Sonar closed, Push the Setup button and go to the Card tab on the X32. Under Configuration, choose how many card channels you want to go to & from the X32 to Sonar. The first number (IN) is the number of card channels you want to be available to Sonar's inputs followed by the second number (OUT) which is the number of card channels that will be available for Sonar to send audio back to the X32. 2. Open Sonar. Hit P for Preferences. Under Audio/Devices you should see all the input and output card channels available from the X32. Check the ones that you want to use. Hit OK to save your choices. 3. If you want individual Sonar channels to feed the X32, select each Sonar channel (up to 32) and use the pull down output menu at the bottom of the channel strip and choose the X32 card channel that you want to send it to. Do this for each Sonar channel. If you want to send just your main mix to the X32, you only need to use the above procedure on Sonar's Master L & R Bus. 4. Push the Routing button on the X32 and go to the Home tab. If you want all the Sonar channels to go to the respective X32 channels, select Card 1-8 for Inputs 1-8, Card 9-16 for Inputs 9-16, etc. If you are just returning Sonar's Master Bus, maybe route it to a pair of Aux 1-4 inputs. That should be all there is to it. If anyone see's that I left something out, please feel free to correct me. As far as using the X32 for controlling Sonar faders, etc. goes, there is a communication problem specific to Sonar & the X32 so it's not working at the moment. I think someone's working on a fix, however. -Jim
