Re: X32 Discussion Dear John, This is great feedback, and we're glad your enjoying the X32! I can't help but to throw out a couple suggestions to address your cons. In regards to recording on the USB stick, yes this is wave file only for now. Apparently there are some hefty licencing fees involved with implementing all of the MP3 formats and stuff, which would ultimately affect the price of the mixer. Your correct that the FX returns on input layer 3 does not implement EQ. However, you can always assign the FX return to one of the 6 AUX channels. Then you can use EQ on the FX return. Or if you have any channels left available, you could use channels 31/32 for example as the FX return which would then give you EQ, dynamics and everything. It is also worth pointing out the most the effects themselves, actually incorporate EQ in the FX screen. I highly recommend checking that out to see if it is adequate enough to achieve what you're looking for. You're right there is no bypass on the FX screen, but there are a couple other ways around it. One way is to use the Mute Groups to bypass the FX. You can even assign all 4 FX returns to a single mute group. Alternately, you also have the Assign buttons. You can "assign" one of these buttons to be a mute for any channel, AUX, FX, Bus, Matrix or Main. I hope this helps! Chris Painter Specialist, Product Support MUSIC Group BEHRINGER
