Re: Firmware v1.10 Release Notes Hi Hpyt, maybe you have to dig deep into this monster thread, but I wrote quite a lot about the pitfalls with FiWi on a PC/windows. I can set my windows computer down to 48 samples when working with the X32 without a glitch, but they are "pimped" to max for audio performance. Some basic tipps: Run dpc latency checker and see, if your computer is good for realtime audio--> DPC Latency Checker If you got bad results and if you are on Windows7, than run latency mon--> Resplendence Software - LatencyMon: suitability checker for real-time audio and other tasks This will tell you, what causes the problem In addition, you have to tweak your windows for better performance. I can recommend these tweaking tipps here--> SAC - Tweaking Windows If you use a laptop, please be aware, that there a laptops out there, that will never perfom good for realtime audio. Sad but true. In addition: You need a firewire port/card with a Texas Instrument (T.I.) chipset or one of the newer Via chipsets. If your device manager tells you: Micron or O² chipset - you're screwed most of the time. To much hassle? Buy a Mac Book Pro! These will perfrom with 64 Samples out of the box. Keep my fingers crossed! Christian
