I hope Rob is able to motivate a response.FWIW, I actively used headphones on my last show with the console to PFL things, and in that relatively noisy environment the noise (which I interpret as a digital bleed and not a sine) was unnoticable. I think it would be profoundly more of a problem when used as a monitor console with listen wedge(s).
