Dangit guys, ENOUGH! Please! There are plenty of us that are used to the issues with both platforms and we are not interested in reading an argument about them!
Now, has anyone done any comparisons with the s16-m monitor mixers and anything else, like aviom, roland m-48, hearback, or mymix - in terms of quality?
I know that as far as quality is concerned, that the m-48's are the best, but cost $800 each, possibly with mymix in close second... and all the best players that I know HATE the way the avioms "sound", something about the digital snake, no matter if they use the normal ones or the fancy rackmount/remote control ones. I just fired up the s16-m's for the first time tonight and apart from the lightest wisper of a hiss (not acutally affected by any volume control) - they sound great! Especially for the cost!
So please, let's bury the hatchet here and get on with the regularly scheduled program here, cool?
