I agree Juergen! But things can only be better and Behringer has really showed us that. I have played around a little with the XIQ app, in sim mode, it is not self explaining, but I think I got the picture. I could not find any documentation on the Behringer homepage. It also works fine on iPad retina in 2x mode. Here some quick conclusions: 1 - setup, here you configure, connect and select the bus that you will use for monitor 2 - assigning channels to monitor to 4 personal faders. If more than one channel is assigned, a MCA is created for each personal fader!! As I am running in sim mode I can not conclude the cross fade behaviour (see the meter moving when pushing the fader) 3 - flip the iPhone or iPad and you will see what I conclude is sends on faders for all channels, buses and fx You can tap the left bar and select one or all personal faders. Again, Behringer, compared to your competitors, I think this will be best personal monitor app. Well done! Behringer team, A proposal, Start up two sticky threads on the Behringer forum for change proposals/future requests and error reporting on the xicontrol and XIQ app. I have seen a couple of minor (probably known) errors and some proposals. The most important I think for live usage is a setting to prevent sleep mode and force app in foreground. I agree on previous requested for xicontrol in e g - mute indication on mini meters - mute group control - mute group assign - output delay control - offline editing of libraries etc - better panning control. Hard to null! Use pot GUI or keep existing w double tap . Some new ideas: - Full screen meter mode, or app acting as meter bridge w some different views. More readable. Now you get lots of meters.... Mini meters and meter tab. For use when using x32 as surface and iPad just resting on top of doghouse. - Popup labels. very good but should improve in order to avoid control of wrong things. For us with sausage fingers it is important. --Add possibility to configure on top of pots like on faders. --add controlled element label on popup label, etc when grabbing GEQ it should readout the FQ and then value below. When moving fader it should readout channel name and the value below. - Preamp control, including s16. During sound check etc. - add double tap as nulling/reset behaviour on controls, maybe with confirmation. - when editing channel details, the channels select arrow buttons are dangerous. Easy to change channel unintended. Secure channel selection (by require confirmation if channel is edited) or move buttons. I understand this can slow down workflow or violate GUI principles but better safe than sorry. At last. In order to learn the now complex xicontrol and XIQ. Manuals or guides for the beginners is needed. Please also consider possibility to always save the last changes in demo mode when app quit or hibernate. More to be written in a new thread on Behringer forum. Although. I am impressed. Very impressed. Game changer. Cheers, Jon
