[QUOTE="Paul Mirtschin, post: 75674, member: 1972"] X32 wireless connection The whole iDevice to X32 issue seems to keep popping up, and I can't help but feel most issues are from people trying to implement the X32 into their current home network. Those people should realise it might cause issues. The X32 is NOT a home networking device. It isn't designed to be plugged in beside 5 computers, 4 handheld devices, a wireless printer, digital radio, file-server, VoIP device and a network streaming server. It is a mixer with a WiFi enabled control. If you want stability, get another WiFi AP (as the list for models that are known to work) and use it on a stand-alone network. X32 + WiFI AP + iDevice/WinDevice. You will suddenly find you are having far less networking issues. And speeds will be much faster. Even here in Australia (where everything is expensive) you can get a 4-port AP for under $50. About the same as a couple of XLR leads. Trust me, it is money well worth spending, especially since you will not have to waste hours of time trying to bug-fix a network connection. Instead you get to; 1. Plug in the router/AP 2. Reboot the iDevice (Shouldn't need this step with Windows devices) 3. Start mixing as it is now all connected, on its own network, using the full bandwidth (instead of shared with 10+ other things).
