[QUOTE="James Junior, post: 76470, member: 3259"] My very first post! I've been lurking around this forum for a couple of months and I finally got an X32 last week, S16s showed up today. I got to use the desk in a live setting on Friday (my first experience using a digital board), it was fantastic. Then on Saturday I risked it and used it for a studio session which was also a great experience. I thought I would post an example of my studio session (when I was lurking I heard a number of examples of live recordings but I wished there were more examples of studio work so I could get a feel for the sound of the board) . I ran all of my audio through the X32 firewire into a Mac Pro, Logic Pro 9. I did use a tube pre on the vocals and bass but I ran them through and X32 pre as well. So here it is (unmastered and not fully done mixing yet, might be a little quiet). Also, if you go to my soundcloud page there are two more songs, on "Say You'll Be There" I used the X32 pre alone just to hear the difference, I was pretty impressed with the pres in this desk!
