If not, there is a menu that allows a new solo to cancel the existing solo; it's in "Monitor"-> Solo Options -> "Exclusive (Last)". That's only one button push to get there, actually.I realize different people can have different working preferences, but to me, "solo" means "one thing at a time", so it's easy to avoid the problem you are describing.
