Ok so I can't be the only one experiencing erratic encoder functionality at this point. I was told by a friend who owns an X32 that they deoxit cleaner / Lube does the trick. Has anybody had any experience with any other chemicals or fixes short of replacement that would solve this problem?

Not sure what the encoder pots are like on a X32 but if it's a sealed pot about the only thing you could try would be spritzing a little cleaner on the shaft and work the pot shaft around some to hopefully work the cleaner into the pot that way.

The Deoxit fader lube does work on pots that have an opening to get directly into the pot. You can get the fader lube is a small squeeze bottle with a needle like applicator to put right where you need it to go.

Sometimes cleaning a pot works great and problem solved other times it's a short term fix at best.
