It is actually +/-18dB of available trim. I don't remember if this was changed in v1 or v2.

I made my comment based on opening X32 Edit on my desktop computer... after looking it seems to be v1.1. Updating X32 Edit shows the +/-18dB. Thanks for catching this.

Hate to hijack the thread however on AH website it states
"there is also a USB audio 32×30 streaming interface for record and playback to Mac DAW systems."
Is there any reason to believe it wouldn't work with a DAW on windows?

I've never used the QU, so I was just keeping score. There is one feature I would not want to do without. DCA. I live on them, on the console or the iPad.

Next time you're in that situation, you might try using a mild compressor on the vocal channel strips and then routing the vocals to a group with another compressor set to more of a hard limiter mode. I do this regularly so that the vox get little to mild compression during a performance but have a fast, hard knee compressor running at ~6:1 on the vocal group to keep things tame when they get loud.
