As long as you have enough stage hands you don’t need an easy tilt for most consoles. ;-) But it sure makes it a lot easier. The last PM5D that I used was in a road case that added so much weight to it that the total was over 500lbs. I have had to put digital consoles in position that took a minimum of 4 people and 6 made it a lot easier. But with the smaller consoles you can wrestle it around by yourself. But I prefer to play it safe and have at least one other person to help. The case is usually what makes a relatively light console awkward enough to need 2 people. Also keep in mind what you can do and what you should do if you want your back to last are 2 different things, when moving gear around.
