The Alcons Audio India team just finished a very successful participation in the PALM Expo show, the first week of June in Mumbai, India. For the first time, Alcons exhibited under the recently established company “Alcons Audio India pvt ltd”. The complete team, JP, Dhaval, Amesh, Akshata and Anil was present and could welcome many friends and new and interested parties.
Attention-grabbers were Tom Back’s seminar on Alcons’ pro-ribbon transducer technology, the LR7 micro pro-ribbon line-array, the QR36 line-source column, and the new BC543 self-contained cardioid subwoofer (first time in India); in the relative short time, Alcons Audio India has been active in the market, it has welcomed renowned Ambassadors such as the Blue Frog chain of clubs.
This week Wednesday, the doors are open for the InfoComm convention in Las Vegas, USA. International and domestic visitors will see the latest in Audio and Video technology from more than 925 exhibitors.
Alcons Audio USA is celebrating a successful first year by exhibiting at InfoComm for the first time and offering a sneak preview of the much-anticipated Sentinel amplified loudspeaker controller in the booth. In conjunction will be off-site demos for those that have heard of Alcons but have yet to hear it. David and Pauline welcome you at the booth; Tom hosts the demos, with free transportation to and from the Convention Center.

Next week, the revamped CineEurope European cinema convention will open for business: For the first time in Barcelona, Spain after years of residence in Amsterdam The Netherlands.
Here the Alcons Audio team, Tom and Maurice, has the latest cinema developments on show, among which the Cinemarray screen system, as recently installed in Germany’s CinemaxX Mannheim. This evolutionary sound system addresses all requirements dictated by the Digital Cinema standard, by utilizing Alcons’ renowned pro-ribbon based line-array technology. Other new products on show will be the CR3 mid-sized screen system and the CB151sl, the ultra-slim subwoofer for smaller-sized cinemas and medium-sized home-theatres.
At the same event, visitors can get an idea of the Alcons sound quality at Sony Europe’s demoroom, room 133, level 1.
