Dan Orton Joins L-ACOUSTICS

[ATTACH=CONFIG]198508.vB5-legacyid=8486[/ATTACH]MARCOUSSIS, France — Bolstering its commitment to the fixed installation and touring markets, L-ACOUSTICS announces the appointment of Dan Orton to the post of Application Engineer for the UK and Ireland.

Orton reports to L-ACOUSTICS’ Florent Bernard, Head of Application – Touring, and Cédric Montrezor, Head of Application – Installation. “Dan is certainly a welcome addition to our team,” notes Montrezor. “Given his proven track record as a talented development engineer in the sound reinforcement industry, I know that Dan will offer excellent support to our UK and Irish network of Integrators and Rental Companies.”

Based in the UK, Orton is primarily tasked with providing support for both consultants and UK L-ACOUSTICS Systems Integrators. His new duties include offering sound design assistance and solutions, providing on-site support for challenging projects, creating potential system models using L-ACOUSTICS’ SOUNDVISION software, and conducting technical trainings and product demos, among other related tasks.

Prior to joining L-ACOUSTICS, Orton spent over ten years with a UK-based sound reinforcement manufacturer, working his way up to becoming a development engineer, where he developed expertise in project management, production engineering, and mechanical design.
