HARMAN’s Studer Continues To Enhance OnAir Console Range With V5 Software

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – HARMAN’s Studer has released V5 software for the OnAir console range, a major software update that continues to support the massive user base of OnAir customers and deliver future-proof solutions. Studer always listens carefully to its customer needs and version 5 is a direct result of such feedback.

The new software includes a LIBRARY function much requested by customers, where processing parameters such as EQ and dynamics settings may be stored in a central library, to be instantly and easily deployed to individual or multiple channels. Subgroups may also now be set in a hybrid mode when in VCA operation.

The stopwatch function now offers a countdown timer, while channel labels may be set temporarily for daily productions and also saved in user snapshots.

Other new features include enhanced input-to-output patching and monitoring and talkback, and new GPIO functions for talkback groups, Cue source selection and more. Support is also included for the CobraNet and Axia Livewire cards from the D21m series.
