I think there should be an image width maximum of about 900 pixels for all images inserted into posts. Should be easy to implement.

got 6 new ones for this year, brown leather, just what ya need on a hot day, oh yea, and bought 2 more ac units and onother tent for a different client, gonna be doing double headers unless the feds put the kabosh on it, I hear menthol is going bye bye soon................ going to need twice the crew also, so keep it in the back of your minds.

Are the pictures supposed to have their aspect ratio all screwed up?
i.e. does the ''resize'' just limit the width (no limit on length) or it it supposed to ''scale'' the picture to 800 x (aspect_ratio * 800)

Originally it was just limiting the width, and ''squeezing'' the images. We revised that change, where it should now me scaling the images. Is that not happening happening for you?

No... but it could be a browser issue. On first page load, dimmensions are correct but forum messages have to scroll. If I reload the page, the pictures become ''smushed'' but the forumno longer has a scroll bar.
It happens every time I load this thread and others with an over sized picture.

Just back home from my gig @ google today.... town hall/ tv shoot style deal... 6 panelests all on Lav's.
After the lighting-Op ripped a fart that sent the camera-OP off to find a can of Oust Air Sanitizer (which he did find... and use)... I decided it best to leave my shoes on.
Maybe someday I'll get to the big-time where I can mix barefoot in a Hawaiian shirt... something to aspire to anyway.
