best movie line since "do you feel lucky punk"

Re: best movie line since "do you feel lucky punk"

"I couldn't be more surprised if I woke up and my head was sewed to the carpet."

Re: best movie line since "do you feel lucky punk"

"It's part of a trilogy, a musical trilogy I'm working on in D minor which is the saddest of all keys, I find." - my fav of Nigel's many quotables

and from the same flick:
"Dozens of people spontaneously combust each year. It's just not really widely reported. "

and finally:

Marty DiBergi: Do you feel that playing rock 'n' roll music keeps you a child? That is, keeps you in a state of arrested development?
Derek Smalls: No. No. No. I feel it's like, it's more like going, going to a, a national park or something. And there's, you know, they preserve the moose. And that's, that's my childhood up there on stage. That moose, you know.
Marty DiBergi: So when you're playing you feel like a preserved moose on stage?
Derek Smalls: Yeah.

From Idlewild starring the members of Outkast...
Setup... Fat guy thinks he's pulled one over on Trumpy. He has a bag of money, the boss (Spatz) is dying and the heir apparent (Trumpy) to the mob like club business out of breath... and fat guy pulls out a knife intending to off Trumpy thus ensuring his windfall.

Trumpy: (Out of breath) What... was... that... you... told... me... Spatz? Never... never... bring... a... knife... to... a... gun... fight?

At this point Trumpy pulls out a gun and shoots fat guy full of holes till the gun is empty. Delivered every bit as memorably IMO as "Do you feel lucky?"

I'm not sure who used that joke first in a movie, but I liked the Indiana Jones version...

Here's a line from "The Money Pit" that I use on nearly a daily basis:

Tom Hanks, looking down at the turkey that landed in a bucket: "I don't think that can hurt us anymore."

Re: best movie line since "do you feel lucky punk"

"There's a smell in here that will outlast religion"

From a GREAT Australian mockumentery that I saw last night. Kenny

Other great lines:

Death in the family has different effects on different people. For some families, it brings them closer together. But for other families, like our circus, it's Christmas cards at twenty paces.

There's another classic example of someone having a two inch arsehole and us having installed only one inch piping.

There's the urinal, and being a male, you have a prong on you that points forward, so I don't understand how they get it on their feet. They must point it down.
