NHL Playoff's

Re: NHL Playoff's

Dude
Burrows is a bitch. How come he didnt get a double-minor for drawing blood lol. That was a nice goal...
If the Bruin's keep turning over the puck in their own zone it's going to be a short series

And I'm still pick'n the Bruin's in seven...

Re: NHL Playoffs - Grampa's new wish list

Grampa's new Stanley Cup wishes.

It goes to a game seven.

Vancouver wins at home and brings the Cup back to Canada.

Manny Malhotra scores the winning goal in the final minute of the third period.

It's good to see Malhotra back. Still don't if he's 100%. The thing that really impresses me about the Canuck's is their speed. Will see what happens in Boston tonight. If the the Bruin's keep playing like shit in their own zone its going to a short series.

And congrats to Winnipeg for FINALLY getting their freak'n team back...

Peace

Re: NHL Playoffs - Grampa's new wish list

Loungo showed up tonight and there was JUST enough offense.

I'd feel a lot better if I thought for sure he's "show up" in the next game in Boston and if the Canucks wouldn't try to play "tough" and draw stupid penalties.

Rome's hit on Horton was the dumbest move by a Vancouver player since Rypien grabbed someone out of the stands back in October.

My guess is Boston wins again at home and after Game Seven the Cup goes "home" at least for a year.

Malhotra scoring the final goal is still my dream ending.

Re: NHL Playoffs - Grampa's new wish list

Congrats to Boston. There earned it. And to all my Canadian friends, MAYBE NEXT YEAR... HE...HE...HE...

Mighty Casey has struck out, there is no joy in Vancouver ( except for the yahoos and vandals ).

When Boston scored the first goal, you could feel the Canucks wilt.

Congrats to the Bruins, hope the Boston fans behave themselves on the streets tonight!

Thanks, Don

Re: NHL Playoffs - Grampa's new wish list

Well, the better team won, hands down. Was also good to see a guy I graduated high school with fulfill his dream of holding the cup (Shane Hnidy). We had a great season and the Cannucks played a lot of great hockey this year. Pretty glad I decided to watch the game at home instead of heading downtown though........I am ashamed that a few hooligans have tarnished the image of such a beautiful city.

Better luck next year.

Re: NHL Playoffs - Grampa's new wish list

Absolutely the better team won. No dicey calls, no silly penalties, no miracle plays and NO EXCUSES for the Canucks. The Bruins just flat out played better hockey last night.

And I'm sorry to see that jerk bad loser behaviour happens even in Canada.

But it was nice to see Manny back on the ice for the last few games.
