Yeah... gas prices...being what they are.... who knows if they'll make their destination. I think the first few minutes of game 6 will tell.
Mr. Ilitch is probably happy, his pitcher tossed another no-hitter the other day.

The first few minutes of last night's game didn't tell anything. In the last quarter it looked like the Red Wings slipped a little Nitro in their gas tank.
So Los Tiburones have to go back to Hockeytown to try try again. If they fail to seal the deal there it's back to San Jose for another game 7.
I love the playoffs, really ;-).

So far, so good. Was a surprising series actually.....they certainly are having to work for it, and that is a pretty good thing.

I hope The Sharks wake up and manage to survive game seven on Thursday. Patrick Marleau's lack of production is a mystery even for him in the playoffs.
At least we get home ice for the next game.

Whatever Patrick Marleau had misplaced in the first six games of this round he found it just long enough in game seven.
On to Vancouver and who knows how that will turn out. Two VERY good teams. And I'm happy that a team that's never won the Cup will be the Western Conference representative.
And even though he was on the "wrong" team that Pavel Datsyuk is one heck of a good hockey player.
