The Super Bowl XXVII halftime with Michael Jackson had a significantly higher TV share than the game and also this year's which was also viewed by more than watched the game. I am not sure any of the stadium fans came for her, but on TV they did. Too bad the on air mix was so bad which is unforgivable since it was most likely ALL track.

I suspect there was an effort to make the performance sound less like the recordings on purpose... (You can fool some of the people all the time)

Looked like some real singing on TV last night... but I didn't see the whole show.
