SAC is also a "one-master dog." It's all about being able to customize it to do exactly what you need done, which is what makes it absolutely the wrong product for use by guest engineers or almost anyone other than the person who set it up.
It's powerful and flexible, and those are simultaneously the up and down sides. If you're the only person who will mix on it, it can be the perfect - any maybe the only - solution.

It is all those things (and more) except recallable head amps (so far....) which, as noted, an XL4 never had. I've been using this for about 5 years and there really is nothing like it on the market. I have a Touchmix 16 to fill some gaps here and there, but the SAC system is the king.
