Anyone done recording with the multitrack QU? How big of a drive do I need to record all 18 tracks for 2 hours?

That's roughly 13GB. WAV files, 44.1kHz, 16 bit use a little under 6MB/minute/track, IIRC.

The Qu recording format is 24/48.

A&H state that the rate is 8.24MB/track/min.

I picked up a WD 1TB usb hard drive for $60.00. Should hold me for a while.

Hi - I just wanted to share a tip about playing back multi-track recordings.

Basically, when you go into the Input Source sub-window, if you want to play back each track from the multi-track recording - just click the "All" button to select all the inputs on that grid. Then switch them to Qu-Drive (Qu-Drv).

Then, when you play back the MT recording - you can hear each track and set the levels, etc - all via the Qu-Pad app.
