I just pulled up both of those threads in my Google Chrome, and didn't see an issue. The right margin should always be extending to the width of your browser's window. Can you post a screenshot of the problem you're having?

Note the scrollbar position on the bottom of the window. Using IE8.

Is anyone else having this issue? I've loaded that post without a problem in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, all the latest versions on OS X 10.5.6. I'll try to reproduce it on IE later today.

IE is notoriously cranky. Maybe there is a plugin for the site that resizes the actual image and then reposts it inline? This CSS resizing code seems to be causing us more problems than good.
