Re: "Slow Forum"
The traffic on Sound Forums Network is greater now than it has ever been. As I'm writing this post, there are 86 users online. While we are up there in search rankings, right now most of our traffic ends up coming from users sharing posts on Facebook and Twitter, along with links to threads here posted on other forums.
In the Varsity section, there are some threads that get to be extremely in depth conversations. They may be a bit over the heads of a lot of users, including myself, but I think they make the site a very valuable resource. I learn things every day reading through some of them. As a lot of people have mentioned to Bennett and I, the signal to noise ratio here remains pretty high.
Our "Test Drive" section has started up with a bit of gear getting around. I know Bennett has more plans for that, with some additional gear lined up to get out there.
Both Bennett and I have been busy with work since summer rolled in, and I don't anticipate things dying down for either of us for at least a month or two. We started up the site in January, and had all of winter to get it started. We'll be doing a lot more again this coming winter.
Phil Graham has been a tremendous resource for us; he has been working with us on speeding up the site for the near future. We've already prepaid for at least the rest of this year in hosting, but we plan to move to a new host once that runs out.
If anyone has any ideas for Sound Forums Network, or anything you'd like to see, let us know and we'll try to our best to make it happen!

In my opinion I fell the content contribution on this forum has slowed down considerably from when we first started up. I, myself have always been more of a reader and only contributed when I was pretty certain of the topic at hand, also had a couple good basement threads IMO
