Stackable Line Array

Re: Stackable Line Array

Hi Peter, quite amazing what the Flex can do (4 a side)

Thanks!!!!

FWIW we really needed 6 to 8 boxes a side (you can ground stack 6). The Flex did an amazing job and we got away with it .... the spec was for 4 boxes a side and was based on the previous year… I don’t think organizers thought that the program changes they made would have such an impact on the audience size.

Re: Stackable Line Array

So far, I'm a big fan of Vertec with V5 presets. Simply owning a Vertec rig is guaranteed business. The VT4888s are a tad annoying to stack, but it can be done; I've done up to 6 ground stacked. Bring your muscles if that's what you intend to do.

Currently working on a project to help do that, see attached photo. They unfortunately get used a bit more like this, hence the dolly design to save time. I've designed it to clamp onto the Vertec frame with no drilling or other machining of the frame. I may have some "mounts" machined to replace the Vertec frame, which would allow rolling the stack in and possibly picking it off the dolly onto a Genie. We'll see.

Forgot to add, the grey casters will be replaced with Colson 5" x 2" Maroon tire with the total lock feature, the larger brother to the already industry standard.

Best regards,

John

Re: Stackable Line Array

Well Thanks to everyone who helped out

Thanks to some PMs I will be able to keep growing on my RCF NX system

I settled on a pair of VMB TL320s

That way I will be able to array my system and still keep a small operation!

Thanks
