Tapatalk and forum links issue.

Re: Tapatalk and forum links issue.

For some reason whenever I click on a link for a blog or press releases, it goes to a totally different blog or post. It's been doing it for a while, and I do have the most recent update. I'm just wondering if there is an easy fix.

Hey Tony,

How long have you been noticing this issue? I'm wondering if it came before or after our recent changes.

The link I see in Tapatalk is correct- if manually entered into Safari, it loads correctly.

Thanks,
David

Re: Tapatalk and forum links issue.

For me links to the bloig and articles open in a browser. Can tapatalk even access the blog? Maybe it's a local user setting.

Re: Tapatalk and forum links issue.

Confirmed problem on iOS 7. Interestingly, changing the settings in Tapatalk to open URLs in Safari or Chrome does not work. URLs are always opened in Tapatalk.
Might have something to do with the fact that TT parses (and logs) all links through its own server?

I'll bring it up to Tapatalk- we're running their latest API as well here.

Thanks,
David

Re: tapatalk on android

I had the same problem. Unfortunately it coincided with an android update, and tapatalk stopping support for tapatalk pro. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the ads they are forcing in regular tapatalk.

I have that same issue now..It's asking me to log in, and I thought I did that in gmail

You may need to re-login to SFN on Tapatalk, since our URL changed from http to https.

There's also a separate Tapatalk login, I think they may store all your various forum credentials- I'm not too familiar with it.

Whatever it is, it broke Tapatalk for me.

Testing edit in latest Tapatalk / iOS
