I am going to attend and bring some cabs. There's not much opportunity to participate in this kind of event living next to the middle of nowhere. Especially not much opportunity to hear much other gear outside of venues and bars.

I have a new line of cabs that I think will compete. But I would like to hear some other opinions from experienced players, make sure I'm not fooling myself. I will be bringing BigE LC6's, Rach'E 18 subs, and possibly WT8 line array cabs. They may not all be pretty yet, depends on how much time I get from doing customer stuff. Making a living gets in the way of the really fun stuff. Currently the only model ready for prime time with hardware and finish is the LC6. The rest are raw cabs.

The general idea was to be with more "commercial" cabinets-but I don't want to say there are any limits to cabinets. People need to hear other cabinets.

We will see closer to time exactly what cabinets will be there/how many people and so forth-and then try to determine some sort of schedule. But it should be mostly a listening party.

These are commercial cabinets. They are not available as a DIY product, nor will they ever be. The patents are in process now. They have been under development for over almost a year with me, probably 2 yrs with the designers. I am the licensed mfg of the line. 2013 is when we were shooting for to bring them to market.

Hope you can make it. We have a guy from Germany who will be there-so you might get second place for longest traveled.

This will probably be inside-at least for part of the day. We can do some outside-but we can't go loud for long periods. So depending on weather-and what shows up and what the attendees want to hear will kinda determine what "goes on".

We might have a larger indoors room available-but no promises on that yet.

I certainly won't need much setup time. I'd just like 10-15 minutes. 5 at the most for setup. No processing or extraordinary requirements, simple 12db crossover points on the amps.

Do you have one you could bring or ship?

There are a lot of cabinets that people would like to "hear" but others are going to have to "step up to the plate" and help arrange for particular products to be available. We can accept UPS or truck shipments.

I do not have any but will make some phone calls and see what i can come up with, a friend of the family has some in st louis.

I, too, would like to attend. You're a long way away from me but I figure this will be the best opportunity I'm going to get to hear some of these speakers, including the SH-46. The ticket costs about 10% of the price of just one SH-46, to put things into perspective. And I've never been to Atlanta, so I'll get to see some new things, fully aware that the weather will be much better in about 3 months.

Looking forward to this. Thanks to the Danley folks for putting it together.

I have an OAP V-3000, which is "similar" to the EAW 650, could I bring this box to the shootout?

We are trying to keep the products in the "mid level" (whatever that is? HA HA) type of category.

But that is not to exclude certain products. Just trying to stay away from the entry level products and larger tour products-but who knows what may turn up.

The JBL VRX won't be able to be here-he owner had a chance to rent it out-so he did. Can't say I blame him.
