All the AES50 connections are for Audio. Router control is provided by the HyperMAC link, which is not AES50.

I believe the AES50 router is an XL8 thing.

I've been told by a distributor that he thinks you can put another AES50 card in the Neutron to provide another 8 connections. That would fix the I/O limitation at that end of the multicore.

Time will tell!

You know, for all the shit we gave the name, it actually seems acceptable to call a DSP engine Neutron.

Not like they put a cloth covered console behind the name or anything, though…
