Guitar effects on the x32: is there a way to turn it on an off using a footswitch (or simulate a footswitch somehow)? What I want is one guitar being able to switch between clean and effect.
Analog wise, even setting the gains to result in 0 dBu can result in a sum that's too hot. With 3 or 4 mics feeding a sub-group, I would normally shoot for -3 dBu on the channels, or even a bit lower.
I'm finding that with 3 or 4 mics feeding a sub-group, -20 dB on the X32 is too hot.
To help aid setup, with the flexible routing on the X32, you can feed a physical input to multiple channels.

No NO you havent butched at all!!!Buona fortuna, Bruno! (hope I didn't "butcher" that...)
Use the mono output, any of the 6 matrix outputs, or 12 busses ( not including the effects busses)
Think MIDI !!!
Setting up templates today for the X32 and got a freeze but not sure of the cause. Any parameter adjustments are much welcomed
I think that's the first time a console freeze has been mentioned, the quoted freeze was a daw freeze as far as I can tell.Problem like this one here too : the console got a freeze then restarted ("reboot") ???? 8O~8-O~
I've checked the voltage in the plugs, 225v, normal here !
Any ideas ?
Tks.
I'm having some trouble loading the firmware updates. The board shipped with 1.04. The only firmware updates on the website are 1.08 and 1.09. Do I need to upgrade sequentially (1.05 then 1.06 then 1.07) before I can update to 1.08 and 1.09, or do those updates include all the previous updates. If not, where do I go to get the updates, since they aren't on Behringer's website?

What were you doing at the time?
Okay, in running through one of my two new x32s I've found a tiny problem. Seems one of the scribble strips (second in the groups bank) has an intermittent red led. This is such a tiny issue I almost am tempted to just let it go. Except its gonna bug me.
anyway, these two units are scheduled to go into service in a couple of days at a my church and I don't really want to delay that for something as simple as this issue. So what's my recourse?
Does the X32 have profile/scene lock? E.g looking at buying this desk for our church but as we have many groups that would use it, some know what they are doing & some don't, is there a way of booting the desk into a certain profile or scene every time? Can you lock scenes so no one can change it with out a password?
thanks in advance.
Not yet but it's on Behringer's list of features that will be implemented (according to a response I saw posted on a forum by a Behringer rep).
It's one feature I've requested for the same reasons as you.
One possible explanation for the freeze could be that a certain combination of scene operations combined with holding the UNDO button down for an extended time is interpreted by the console as a reset command similar to what it does at boot-up, and that a subseqent press of the UNDO after the first reboot caused it to revert back to the settings before the initial reboot. Haven' got the console available, but maybe you might be able to replicate what happened when you keep in mind that the UNDO button is the likely culprit if this is a firmware bug/feature and not a console defect. Just a thought, not substansiated by anything I have observed on the console. No special operation at the freeze time, just working on scenes, console alone with nothing plugged, that's why I don't understand or don't have any idea of the cause.
When I saw it, I taught that I should take a photo, but then the X32 rebooted. It happened 2 times.
I used a program called Wine Bottler, which can be found here: WineBottler - Run Windows Programs directly on OS X
Once installed, OSX associates ".exe" files with Wine.
I have successfully connected it to my real X32.
