Re: Sticky Buttons
Just an update on my x32 sticky button situation. Thanks to Ian at Music Group the desk was swiftly repaired and returned a day later. (Thanks Ian). He also informed me that any nessecary checks had been done (the headphone whine issue with cable routing checked etc.......)
i just want to add how fantastic the service team are and this next bit is by no means a complaint but a compliment.....
When I got the desk back it sounded like there was a small screw inside as I lifted it to put back in the flight case. I contacted Ian who straight away arranged for the Kiddy service centre to personally collect the desk the next day (luckily they are only 20 mins away from my work). With in 4-5 hours it was returned hand delivered back to work. Unfortunately they said they couldn't locate the rouge bit which, although made me look like I had gone mad(!), actually may have meant that it was so small that perhaps it fell through the fan grill in transit.
Never the less the service manager, who had come in person this time with this colleague said he had ensured the unit had been thoroughly checked again and a every ribbon cable secured. He also he wasn't bothered about the fact they couldn't find the mystery bit as long as I was happy. Also if at any point there was a problem to return straight away.
Anyway, desk is happy, I am happy - I must have had a clean too as it looks brand new again without even a speck of dust or fingermark anywhere.
Music Group - You have definitely got something right with your customer service and level of support which is the best I have come across in recent years, even your receptionist at Kidderminster offered me a cup of tea whilst the person came down to collect the desk when I initially dropped it off. Fingers crossed that this button issue is just down to a few dodgy ones in the thousands made!
