DIY Mid High Group Buy

Yeah doesn't bode to well especially if you had a particular timeline.. Well I was told by Jack that they will be shipping soon to me so I will work with that information, however i dont have any other specifics..

Stay tuned..

Thank you Peter, your experience is what we expect, yes?
Sad to say, I have a hard time believing that BMS corporate understands how difficult procurement can be in the US.....

Hi All, sorry, I have been out sick and not been here for a while. Just came in to say thanks, as Jason got the drivers yesterday.

I'm guessing the BMS home office knows exactly how long this took, as they are the ones who shipped to Jason.
Have fun with the drivers.

Regards, Jack

Thank you Jack, sorry to hear you were sick...hope you are very well.
And sorry for any inference of responsibility for circumstances out of your control.
Best regards, Mark

Good day everyone, all drivers shipped out except for Dave. Awaiting for information on freight forwarder. Enjoy and be safe. May do this again depending on demand and availability. Thanks also to Jack Arnott for spearheading the effort and lastly for your patience..

and here is a link to a quick video of it. just basic camera mic, select 1080p for decent audio quality, but dont expect to be blown away.

Very interesting Sean, how deep is the box? What 12's are you using?

Any chance of some drawing of the box or some sort of rundown on it. it looks very interesting....and I love DIY stuff:)

No drawings yet as its still under development, abd will be released as a rrtail product. A bit more shaping to the throat entry on the dual 12 horns to do, as well as experimentation with a couple different vtc fillers to try and smooth out the performance 4-600hz. The graph was shown with no smoothing though h

Looks interesting Sean. It appears to roll off pretty steadily below 230hz. Are you using some sort of mid bass box to help blend with the sub better or do you run your sub x over higher? Just curious.

Don, check out the video. Our midbass units can run 60hz to about 300hz if needed. A little more reduction in rear chamber size should get this down to 190-200hz.

I am 6+ months late to the party here, but would really like to build a set of PM90 speakers. Any chance that some BMS 4594HE drivers could be obtained at group buy price? My son and I built a set of xoc1 TH18 subs. Now we need some great tops (and then an additional set of subs from what I read).

Thanks,
Daryl Smith
