Re: Stereo IEM
Real monitor engineers think having this on encoders only is fine, although they've also seen it where the odd-numbered fader is volume as normal, and the even numbered one is pan with a center lighting up the mute button, just like on the GEQ on faders option. The latter allows a full-mix view of that mix.
Stereo IEM using Stereo Buses:
To do this you would link two buses together.
This now creates a stereo pair for Bus 1 and Bus 2.
- Select the bus, (example bus 1)
- Go to Home Page
- Click the first encoder labeled Link
- Your Bus 1 Send, (on any given channel), is now LEVEL to that stereo bus
- Your Bus 2 Send, ( on any given channel), is now PAN for that stereo bus
Still useful, I think, although I need to ask my real monitor engineers at our meeting tonight for their feelings.
