X32 Discussion

re: X32 Discussion

Hi all!

Is anyone 'in the know' when it comes to the manual for this console? Last I saw / heard, it was going to be made available BEFORE the release of the console. As the console is due for official release on the 27th, 'before' surely means 'right now'?

Kind regards, Andrew

I never heard them say it would be out before the release of the board itself. All I have seen is "it will be out soon" whatever that means. I hope that it will be available today!

Hi Jared,

It was someone called Uli as I recall:

"The first X32 mixing consoles will reach the stores on or before July 27th."

"The manual is currently finalized and will be uploaded on our website prior to the arrival of the consoles. Following the PL&S show, we listened to our customers and as a result added several more features. We are now incorporating these in the manual."

You'll find it in Post #317 I think:

On or before the 27th July? It's the 25th today. :D~:-D~

re: X32 Discussion

Please forgive me if this has been addressed already, but from skimming the 28 pages I did not find this info.

Will the first two banks of 16 faders be routable to be used for mixdown of the 32 firewire outputs, and if so, allowing full functionality of dynamics and effects like are available when routed to the analog inputs? I have been told this was the case by a user on the Bheringer forum, but wanted to ask here since the user base seems much larger.

Hi,
my biggest USB stick has just 4GB, so I can't check that. 4GB works as it should.
+48V is individual on the console and the S-16.

re: X32 Discussion

Christian I know the PC editor you have is a beta version, but just curious if you can connect the laptop to the board and operated it through the laptop? So in other words, not just an offline editor, but live editor.

If it does "live" edit, does the image on the pc follow the display on the board itself?

Yes, it works live! You you send the board mixing scene to the pc, or the editor setting to the board. It does not follow the board. So you can do or display different things (like meters f.e.) on your computer.

re: X32 Discussion

So many options but one comes in mind that i cant recall anyone answering.

So the scenario.... If I would have s-16 with adat split, four p16m and we would want to go to a backline gig....

Can we use s-16 and p16m's stand alone to do our monitors and have the venue access trough ada split.

And most of all does the s-16 and p16m remember the settings they had before powering down...

re: X32 Discussion

and as the counter reaches zero I hear cheering as the manual appears on the website carried aloft by Uli roled as a trumpet and burning....... maybe

re: X32 Discussion

Yup, two questions today, the most importeant obviously being: "Will we have a manual today?"
The second one that some of the world might ask is "Who will light the Olympic flame?", but I bet CNN first will report on the progress of the manual

Seriously though, as long as the world doesn't stop when Uli's countdown reaches zero, it is no big deal. Slightly embarrassing for a couple of people at Behringer obviously, but no biggie.

re: X32 Discussion

The Behringer X32.... The most anticipated manual release in history.
Does anyone have info on the when the S 16's will be available?
