The user interface of a large modular system can of course quickly become very complicated, and at some point it would make sense to split this into two levels, where you have the normal user interface as we see it today, and than have a "systech module" in the form of an extra piece of software that is used to configure the system and the modules at a deeper level than what is practical and advisable for the standard user interface.
This software module would do things like password protection, locking features from standard users, create "level 2" users with unlock key code on a USB stick, setting routing parameters, build configurations not commonly used (like multi channel outputs controlled by main fader ~;-)~:wink: ) (build single fader stereo inputs) etc. etc.
