Re: X32 Feature Requests
As usual, it depends......
It depends on your expectations and the way you apply the device.
I have routinely used units from the Behringer FBX1100's to the Sabine Graphi-Q's with the "auto-set" parametric filters. Some user tweaking is either required or desired to finalize things, but there is a good deal of efficacy to the "feedback detection" circuits available.
The bottom line is to use them for what they are capable of doing and not expect them to be a "miracle cure" and to do all the work for you. I regard them as parametric EQ's with automatic setting of the filters. But this function yields nothing more than a quick and easy, automated STARTING POINT.
If you're wanting something to ride herd on the spectrum while the show's going, the GraphiQ is the only one I have used that I'm comfortable with.
I totally agree. Any auto feedback detection unit I've ever used has been utterly useless. I'm always able to solve the issue myself with a 31 band. I do severely want the analyzer so it takes the guess work out a little.
